Task 36: Integrating Energy Recovery Into Solid Waste Management Systems

In November 2012 the Executive Committee of IEA Bioenergy approved a three-year work programme on Energy Recovery from Solid Waste – referred to as Task 36 (2013-2015). The Task Objectives include the maintenance of a network of participating countries as a forum for information exchange and dissemination.

The participating countries in this Task are France, Germany, Italy, Norway and Sweden.

The Operating Agent for this Task is Birger Kerckow of the Fachagentur Nachwachsende Rohstoffe e.V. (FNR), Germany.

The Task leader is Dr Pat Howes from Ricardo-AEA, UK and assistant Task Leaders are Kathryn Warren of Ricardo-AEA and Dr Niranjan Patel from Partnerships UK (PUK), UK.
